Belden Announces $100 Million Share Repurchase Authorization

St. Louis, Missouri - Belden (NYSE:BDC) announced today that its Board of Directors has authorized a $100 million share repurchase program. The repurchase may occur in the open market or in privately negotiated transactions, at times and prices considered appropriate. The Company had 45.1 million shares outstanding on July 30, 2007.
